Opportunities to Get Involved in CfAO EHR Programs

The Center for Adaptive Optics (CfAO) is continuing to develop and expand its Education and Human Resources (EHR) programs to strengthen the Center and benefit the communities affected by our research. We continue to focus on increasing participation in science and engineering among underrepresented populations and inquiry-based learning. Our plans also call for 1) Increasing our emphasis on the undergraduate and graduate students communities; 2) Targeting our precollege programs more directly at the high school level (rather than the broader K–12 population) to maximize their impact; 3) Strengthening our connection to community colleges through expanded summer internships.

We encourage all CfAO members to become involved in one or more the Center’s EHR activities. If you have any questions please contact the EHR staff.
