Akamai Maui Short Course - May 27 - June 1, 2007, Maui, Hawaii

As part of the preparation for the CfAO Maui Akamai undergraduate internship, interns attend a 5-day short course in general optical principles and adaptive optics taught at Maui Community College.

Akamai Hawaii Island Observatory Short Course - June 3 - June 8, 2007, Hawaii Island, Hawaii

The Observatory Short Course is a multi-disciplinary course to prepare undergraduate interns for a range of summer research projects at observatories on Hawaii Island.

Mainland Short Course - June 18 - 24, 2007, UC Santa Cruz

As part of the preparation for their CfAO Mainland Internships, interns attend a 5-day short taught at UC Santa Cruz.

Hartnell Astronomy Short Course - July 30 - August 4, 2007, Hartnell Community College

The Astronomy Short Course takes place at Hartnell Community College (Salinas, CA) for entering students as well as continuing students with science majors. It is designed to teach general astronomy and optic principles through inquiry based teaching as well as attract students to the astronomy major early-on at the community college level.
