2007 AO Summer School Presentations
This workshop provides advanced professional training in the field of Adaptive Optics. Adaptive Optics (AO) refers to optical systems which adapt to compensate for time-varying optical distortions introduced by the medium between an object and its image. AO leads to appreciably sharper images, sometimes approaching the theoretical diffraction limit of an optical system. Appropriate for scientists, engineers, and technicians at the graduate level and above, this workshop combines lectures and hands-on laboratory activities to cover the following topics:
Lectures will be held at Merrill College Room #102. An agenda of activities for the week will be included in your check-in packet.
AO Lab sections will be held at the Earth & Marine Sciences Building, Rooms: D226, D236, D258, & D250.
Additional information will be given to you upon arrival to AO Summer School.
