Summer School on Adaptive Optics 2001

Agenda

DESCRIPTION:
The Summer School is an annual event sponsered by the Center for Adaptive Optics (NSF Science and Technology Center). Its purpose is to disseminate knowledge of adaptive optics to the scientific and technical community. The school is held at the University of California, Santa Cruz, campus.

Our target audience includes graduate students, postdocs, and researchers in astronomy and vision science. We will assume that the participants are familiar with the basic concepts of adaptive optics at the level of the CfAO Summer School 2000. The 2nd summer school will cover more advanced topics such as:

Anticipated number of attendees: 60

As in the previous year, emphasis will be given to topics that are of interest to astronomers and vision scientists alike.
